Ok. Sorry it took so long to complete this (work has been an mofo lately). Ran by Lowes and found a small dowell about 36" long. Took it home, mesured it against my barrel and added a few inches to it. Removed my barrel and gently tapped it from the muzzle end to breach end and popped out the slug.
Seems the choke of the barrel grabbed this slug and stopped it cold about 1 1/2" from exiting the barrel. Rifle was filled to 3600 psi, and all settings maxed out. Reg psi at 160bar. Must have been a size difference because all others before it flew fine and true to 100 yds. Oh, BTW it is an FX Crown Continuum Mkii in .25 caliber. The slugs were 61gr bt spire points.
