"scubajeeper"I have one of Joe's valves on a scba and it is the bee's knees but I have to really crank it down hard to shut it off. If I don't really tighten it basically as hard as I can, it will leak. Has anyone had this problem?

No problem with mine, in fact I do think the valve on his tanks are quite easy to turn off and on. Really good quality.

Ditto. I've had mine for about 2 years, and no problems; same for Guppy (same gauge) which I've had for longer: never had a leak.
