I have been on the lookout for wind indicators ever since I started doing ground squirrel pesting at my friends place. The only ones I could find were from the UK and with shipping not worth it to me until someone here posted about Joe's scope parallax wheels so I went to his site and lo and behold he 3D printed them! I called Joe and he returned my call that evening and I told him I was interested in having him print wind indicators for 30 & 34mm tube diameters and he said he could. A couple of days later I got a text from Joe with pictues of them and I replied they were perfect! So he sent me a PayPal invoice and I paid

 it pronto and a couple of days later they arrived. They clip on the tube then you install the provided o'ring and it makes a secure fit. The arm is on a pivot which can move 180 degrees so it can be stored on the side of the scope incognito when not in use. Luv the design and workmanship Joe did for these, plus they are very affordable at about 20 bucks each. He also makes magnetic scope wheels, butt hooks, levels, and custom rifle and pistol wood stocks, forearms and grips....very talented man!

Watch for Joe's new re-designed FT wheel combo that includes a new "Aluminum wheel and hub assembly" that incorporates an inner nylon split ring that tightens down on the focus knob of the scope via one {1 } set screw. No more plastic hubs and multiple grub screws. The wheel attaches to the hub with magnets as well as a keyway in the wheel with the key incorporated in the hub which makes for a very tight and secure fit. Included in the combo package is a new design level and pointer. The level will work for both left and right handed shooters. It comes with two pointers aluminum and plastic. The wheels come in various designs and colors. I have been fortunate enough to have received a prototype from Joe in polished aluminum that has been clear coated. It is a beautiful piece of work and functions flawlessly. The debut for the new design is tomorrow January 15th.it is my understanding that Joe's website { JD'S Custom Design} ,will have all of the information available as well as pictures and pricing. I’m getting one of the Joe’s new wheels as soon as I make my mind up on color. I have one of his 3D printed wheels and the hub design with the magnets is really slick. You can take the wheel off and put it back on in a few seconds and it always goes right back where it was before so it doesn’t change your yardage marks. And Joe is definitely an extremely nice person and a pleasure to talk to.
