I traded a scope with douger, and while I did get the scope, it didn’t include what it was supposed to. He blamed a lot on his wife, but in the end, the other stuff arrived. I give most the benefit of the doubt, as I would like them to do the same (sometimes life happens), but this truly sucks to happen to anyone!!

It’s unfortunate but it certainly looks that way. I was holding my comments but there seems to be a pattern arising that doesn’t leave much room for a plausible story that would balance the scale.

this reminds me , i lent a buddy a paint sprayer to do a job once , he calls me and said it stopped working , we both subcontracted from the same builder , his sprayer was in the shop , im a carpenter so wasnt using it , anyway i head over to have a look and the electrician that was working in the house was looking at it , we known him for a few years as our trades over lap
he was always a guy you were always unsure about , he kept telling me let me take it home and he would fix it , i said thats ok i have a shop that works on my tools , its a right off and ive used them for years , he was very persistant , i kept saying no and eventually just started ignoring him , it was a $1500 sprayer
couple weeks go by i see the guy that owned the electrical contracting company that he worked for and we were talking as we do , and he starts telling me how that same guy stole a bunch of tools from him , stole his take home van , sold the tools for heroin and OD'd in his work van in a Wal Mart parking lot
you need to adopt a trust no one mentality these days as sad as that may sound

Man, that sucks. I'm still out about $5,000 from a buddy. He kept having me order boat parts and then I paid for his boat to be brought to storage that I had - 32' fly bridge style. Then he disappeared and left me with a taken apart boat, now motors, drives, interior cut aparts, etc. etc.

This has ruined it for me. I have purchased 3 items from members of AGN, Rifle over $1000.00, Scope over $300.00 and 2 mags over $70.00. All using PP FF.

Seeking clarity, are you saying you have made these purchases on AGN or that these deals have gone badly?
I certainly hope the deals went well. I would like to believe this is a rare or isolated occurrence.
He stopped posting after he took my money, guess he did the calculations and it made sense to him. I kinda wonder if anything he said was true.

I agree, the vast amount of members are honest. There were warning signs that douger was kinda shady, but I still befriended him and foolishly gave him the benefit of doubt. My bad, I lose…
