Scott has done well to clarify some things that has happened at JSAR. I am one of the first owners of their Raptor and, I knew full well going in that there would be growing pains when a company brings out a new platform like the Raptor. I’ve helped friends open up and start new business and they never ever go the way it was planned...LOL...just the nature of the beast. My Raptor has gone thru a couple of those growing pains whatever issues they were....but knowing this as frustrating as it seemed at the time, was and has been taken care of by Travis (when he was working there) or Jacob. They have continued to do more research and development to the platform. When I sent mine in recently, it was just for a leak and a small thread issue but when Jacob took it apart, he installed a newly developed valve, newly developed transfer port (caliber specific), newly developed hammer spring guide, fixed the leak and thread issue and sent me two o’ring rebuild kits...with no charge to me! It now shoots much differently and in a good way. New business owners can and will be overwhelmed by issues they were not prepared for. I am not in any way saying one should be happy with a product not meeting the standards the product should uphold (it still is a lot of money for a BB gun) but every manufacturer has and will go through those problems...I’m sure Daystate, one of the most respected manufacturers of PCP’s had a rocky start, and I am a big fan of their products even though they still have minor issues. My Raptor now shoots as accurately as my RAW, both same caliber with same pellets. Jacob and Travis have both treated me very well am glad I purchased the Raptor...it is a lot of gun for the money.
. Business is a learning curve as is life, I really want them to make it. They are a very small company and I know the basic platform is solid, just needed a few tweaks and they are accomplishing that as we speak. Kudos to Jacob and company in my opinion.
