JSB Diabolo Exact .22 Caliber Air Gun 18 gram

Fly,

I apologize if I've already given this advice, I've been giving it so much, can't recall exactly to whom. Click on yellow ZAN Projectiles "flag" scrolling past at top of page. Check out prices with shipping for JSBs, I think buying in large enough quantities brings real value with low cost-per- pellet averages. Zans has allowed a bunch of us to put the pellet shortage in the rearview mirror. Fast DHL shipping and packaging like nobody else can match, will win you over.

Fly,

I had three new PCPs, since April, with no ammo to shoot. Was considering Amazon and eBay JSB purchases, even though average price per pellet, to-my-door, was between .22-25 cents. Last month, I noticed a Slovenian company, Zan's Projectiles, an AGN sponsor which had been just selling slugs, was now offering JSBs. This picture is of my first two orders. The average, to-my-door price per pellet was .064 cents.

I've always had good luck by spending more than $ 150 ( free shipping over $150). FOR 12 tins of 500( 12 because every 4th tin is FREE ) OF JSBs from Pyramyd air. with free shipping & you pay for 9 tins($180) get 12 tins (500 pellets per tin 4500 pellets) the cost per pellet is .04 cents per pellet. Your 18 gr JSB's, 4500 pellets @ .04 free shipping AND very well packed. I've always had good shipments from them. Once the cardboard box had a damaged corner, pellets were fine.

Like my Dad said- buy a reputable product from a reputable dealer and you get quality service every time. A reputable dealer will always work to make sure YOU get a good deal at a good price ( not the cheapest) and he will stand behind his deal. If you go for the cheapest price sooner or later you will not be happy. Quality of the pellets you receive is a quality manufacturer selling in big bulk loads AND a quality packing job from a quality dealer who must buy in massive bulk loads to get the good price. For the dealer to accomplish this he also has to give you a good price and sell in bulk to you. He has to buy in bulk from JSB, they have to give a good packing job. From the manufacturer all the way down to you packing is essential. they have to make a profit by buy & sell in large masses AND insure that the packing protects the pellets. For all you know a pallet of pellets was drop unloading from the boat and most of the pellets were damaged, then sold at an insurance auction to the guy who sold you yours at a cheap price. ( and he shafted you) Amazon usually kinda, sorta wraps with brown in paper in an over sized box and THROWS it on the truck. I received a heavy quality STEEL hose reel. I could not believe the damage done to it. Amazon has a lot of jobbers who own private companies and fill and ship pellets (and other things) to you. You got a cheap dealer, cheap packing, cheap loading by throw it in the truck ( wait till you get a tin dented or crushed) If you are lucky and the box shows damage, you go through the rig-a-roll of filling for a refund, maybe. If you are when the driver carries the damaged box to you AND you photo it in his hands you have a much better chance. I APOLOGIZE FOR BEING LONG WINDED. YOU CAN TELL THIS IS MY FAVORITE TOPIC. nothing like a rifle broken in 2 or stock broken or a bent steel barrel. It's amazing what they can do an not have used a forklift to do it!

GBGUNNER,

I agree very much with your point of view and explanations. I even agree with your math and savings with Pyramyd Air, however, my concern and why no ammo, since April, was that none of the USA based airgun ammo suppliers, including Pyramyd Air, had any of the JSBs, I needed. I wasn't searching for .22 JSBs (18.1 grain) so you might be correct that Pyramyd Air had these in stock. I placed my name on many wish/waiting lists and watched this forum to catch reports of deliveries, all for nothing. Wasn't till Zan Projectiles offered JSBs, that my pellet shortage ended. I haven't shopped JSBs since November, so it might be that Pyramyd Air is now fully stocked with JSBs, and that's good news, for all. Having the pellet shortage finally come to an end is a real blessing, however, I'll keep using Zan's Projectiles.
