JSB jumbo Monster in FX Royale 400 .22

Anyone shooting jsb Jumbo Monster 25.39gr In FX Royale 400. I wonder what speed you are shooting at and how they are on 30+meter.

My gun is not adjusted anything from factory and precition is perfect with 18,13 gr. But heavier pellets are not good on 30+meter

Ive shot those with a Royale 400 barrel, wasnt impressed they spiraled for me. I'm pretty sure i got them to 900 or so too. The 18s shoot far better in that gun in my opinion.

I shot them out of my FX Royale 400 equipped with BSA barrel. 

I achieved 875 fps maximum. These pellets are extremely accurate up to 55 yards at 875 fps. 

For longer rangers like 80+ yards, these pellets need more than 925fps. 

My RAW with BSA barrel at 935fps shoots these pellets extremely well even beyond 100 yards.

Thats nice, i think hes asking about how they shoot in smooth twist.

It`s the same for me. Spiraling like crazy.....Any point in lowering the speed?

I thought I had tried them at around 800 like you say AirGunShooter, but I'll give them another shot. Yes Norway spiraling like mad, many pellets I've found shoot very well out the the smooth twist I had just kind of accepted these aren't one of them.

That said I'll give them another try at lower speed.

Yes. I think I have to lower the speed. I don`t have chrono now, so I will have to wait. I havent adjusted anything on my Royale before. Anyone who have some tips on how to start? Regulatorpressure first?

And one more question. On ”Powersetting 2”, have anyone measured the ft-lbs on factory setting?

Without a chrony would be tricky to tune it, but i would lower speed by turning the hammer spring adjuster counter clockwise (unscrew) 1 full turn.

Its a 5mm and most are threadlocked from factory and might need heat. You can use this as your power control. It will give you adjustability of power for each reg setting.

That said, if youve never adjusted anything youre probably around 35fpe now with the stock settings. So maybe try a full turn up take some shots then do a full turn down.

I would guess around 30fpe with an 18gr, and 35 with a heavier 25.4 pellet.

If you want more power, you can get the SHP valvepin complete, valve seat and hammer weight from the Royale 500 and increase reg pressure then you should get 40-45fpe. I have a Royale 500 and bought the pellet probe, guide and barrel from a Royale 400 so I can swap caliber I got 45fpe in .22 using the 400's barrel. It's a fantastic platform, very easy to work on and incredibly reliable. 

I can't find the SHP valvepin complete on this diagram but your local dealer should be able to help you if you wanted to go this route.

Sounds easy I`ll think I will play around alittle with what I got for now. My gun is pellet on pellet whith 18,1gr JSB, opening up some on 75meter.

but maybe I can shoot those 25,39gr on power 2 with some finetuning
