I’ve shot quite a few squirrels with the KO 10gr out of my Lelya. Going around 920fps. Not impressed, but not disappointed. All vital shots and all complete pass throughs.

Those are the 13.43 knockout slugs, I’m shooting them at about 1020 fps.How fast are you shooting them out of that redwolf? I know it can send them around 38fpe
My RedWolf doesn’t shoot the 10 grain slugs nearly as accurately as the 13.43’s.

Yes for sure, they are devastating on chipmunks and other pests.
You can see the expansion in the photos in the earlier post, and the results of that expansion on the chipmunk!
The mushroomed slugs were shot into wet paper.
The .177 slugs mushroomed to about the same size as the .22 slugs did, really accurate too.

You would have to shoot them wayyy in the supersonic zone for them to remain somewhat stable before they start to tumble once they transition into transonic

Was curious if they would actually tumble or spiral if shot at 1200-ish fps or if they're slick enough to remain stable (enough) to, say... 60-75 yards? I cannot find any confirmed tests of anyone purposely shooting these to those speeds is all.

Playing with a TalonP right now. Setting it up for 16gn slugs. Right now it's spitting H&Ns out at 950. Tried 13.47 KOs at the same settings they had a muzzle velocity of 1050. They are devastating. That's a half pound block of clay.
