I stumbled across that these were available in a different thread. Anyone have any experience with them? Utah Airguns have them. I ordered 2 tins to try. Look similar to the .177 10.3 MK3 slugs which seem to do very well.
Yeah I think if it works in my guns it's where I want to be weight wise. I don't need a gun slinging 25gr+ ammo around pushing 45fpe+. With these I can easily push to 900fps and be at 37fpe which is more than enough than for my needs and still be a good trajectory. Plus alot more efficient than shooting the 25gr. Just a small bump up from shooting the 18gr.Let us know how they do Dillon. I saw them on Instagram earlier today for the first time.
Good weight for lots of .22 airguns.
NSA sells the 20.2 gn which seem to do well in a lot of 22 pcp's.
The Daystate Howlers are rebranded NSA's.
When we were testing (mostly NSA), the weight that shot best in the most rifles was chosen to be the Howler..
I only inject this into your thread because Nick's company does a pretty fine job of giving a consistent product at a reasonable price . ..

Bob, yes I do like the NSA 20.2gr also and NSA in general. I like how they're the most affordable slugs on the market. I'm interested in finding one of these newer slugs with a large HP for pesting. The best slugs I've had luck with so far have been VK XLHP 22gr. These are a cheaper alternative to that similar design. If they don't work the NSAs will be on my list of things to try.NSA sells the 20.2 gn which seem to do well in a lot of 22 pcp's.

It's been awhile since I've tried them so maybe I'll have to try them again and see how they do. What's annoying is I had a few slugs I used to have a tin or box on hand for trying in my various guns but they have disappeared. The 20.2s were in that group. So I've got these 20.83gr coming, VK XLHP 22gr and some RMR slappers. The NSAs would fit nicelyAs a point of reference, I've not used the 20.2s on pests but the 20 cal, 18.9s really POP when you hit a critter so I would expect the 22s to do that also. Modifying them like @Motorhead does will likely make them even moreso...
Funny. I tried the MK2s which have the flares and they lost so much FPS in my barrel that i won't use them anymore. But we'll see how these do in mine when I get them. Thanks for the heads up on these! If they had the flared ends I would give them a shot. My barrels seem to prefer slugs with the flares.
