Has anyone shot the JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Monster .22 Cal, 25.39 Gr pellets in an FX smooth twist rifle and had any good results with accuracy? thinking about picking up a tin and testing myself, but wanted to see if anyone had already done the work

I have shot the Exact Jumbo Monsters with a 5.52 head, and they shot well. I have also shot the Jumbo Monsters Stratons .22 cal 25.39gr, which I think did a little better in the accuracy department.

I tried them with a couple of my airgun and they group all over the place LW barrels..speed from 910fps to 930fps

I concur with DKL. I tried the Monsters in 3 different Daystate rifles and the only consistency I observed was how consistently poor they shot from all 3 rifles. I suspect the 5.50mm head size may be too small for the chocked LW barrels.

I tried them out with my FX t-12 in 22 cal. It did not like them at all. Sure hit with a wallop, but compared to the lighter weights, not worth shooting in mine. Only tried the one head size though, I forget which it was.

My first PCP was a Air Force Condor and it shot them very well at 1040ish fps. Took my first honest 100 yard starling with that combo.
Atlas I found that rifle's point of aim to change too often an moved on to what in my estimation were better platforms.
But I haven't found one that would shoot the Monster with accuracy.
