JSB Pellet Tins

I shoot 40 pellets every day. The total process, including reloading the magazines/clips (I'll let someone smarter than me argue what the correct term is) takes me 3 hours. I like to keep the pellets in the tin. I'm not interested in putting them in a different container. I'm a quadriplegic (no finger movement) and have to use a screwdriver each time to open the tin because the lid is not a screw-on. Out of the last 3 days I have partially dumped the tin twice on the table trying to remove the lid.

I know I'm a small fry in your business, and putting a screw-on lid on the tin would probably cost you millions of dollars. I don't know how the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) law applies to a foreign company doing business in the US or how the European Accessibility Act affects you, but if they apply then moving to screw-on lids may seem inexpensive compared to a greedy lawyer and a class action suit.

I personally don't believe in suing a business over accessibility issues, but I do vote with my money (no matter how insignificant it is to your overall business). I will be moving on to testing H&N pellets.

i have read that jsb is manufacturing screw on lids,but all dealers do not have them in stock.

JSB released screw on lids almost two years ago. If you are getting the old push on friction tins then the retailers still have old stock that they are going through. We apologize for any inconveniences, but the screw on lids are and have been available.

Thanks for the update. I will purchase new stock when it is available in the hopes of new style lids

Out of curiosity, where did you get them from?

Sorry, I honestly don't remember. I had health issues so it had to be the end of 2019. I just finally got back to where I could shoot again.

It was a rough day when I posted. Spilling the pellets just sort of topped it for me. First world problems and me complaining at insignificant crap. I should be happy for what I have.

My issue with JSB pellets is the first tin I ordered arrived with at a minimum one in two had deformed skirts and need to be reshaped before use. The second time I ordered JSB pellets they arrived looking like they needed to be cleaned up a bit after leaving the molding trays. Third tin of pellets I bought looked better than the other two but still nowhere as nice and tidy as a tin of Crosman Premium pellets. For well over twenty dollars a tin asking price and all the good things I’ve heard about JSB pellets and with all the work needing to be put into the ones I already have I’m about one more tin away from being very vocal about the poor quality of their product, poor quality control and the high price point for a seemingly inferior product.
