JSB redesigned 25.39 shallow???

I took out my RAW HM1000x .22 to the range to try out the shallows at 50 and 100 yrds
The 50 yard shots were very good. If they were weighed out, i think it can be very nice for competition
The 100 yards were equally as good! The first group i shot was only a 3 shot group. It was the Best, but not the average

TBH…I doubt if I can ever repeat it
I was quickly brought back to earth on the next 6 grouping of 5 shots. The results are similar to what I shot on the prophet 3.

The shallows are much much better than the previous MRDs. Seems like they are already out of stock at most places.
I will sort them out and try again later.

But the shallows are the same ones being produced with the ones called deep. A Lot of times you get a mixture of the 2 in tins. The shallows are not a new pellet.

not had a tin yet that has had a mix of pellets, so i have not seen what you are describing.
May not be new to you, but thet are certainly different than the MRDs i have purchased within the last 6 months.

my rifle prefers these shallows..the one on the left…
the one on the right are the previous MRDs that I have recently purchased
gone through 5 tins so far…none have been mixed
was not shooting in 2019,but that is good to know

This is the thing about JSB that drives me crazy. I have a new tin of 25.39 Redesigned. In the tin are two different pellets. A medium based pellet, I think are now being called the shallow and a deep base pellet, I think are the ones they are now calling deep. But WHY do they put them both in 1 tin.🤬

In my RAW HM1000X The deep ones shoot great for me but the shallows spray all over the place.

I am a reseller of JSB pellets in South Africa. I always first take a tin of each available batch of pellets at the importer. I then test them out of my RAW, and other rifles. There were 3 different batches of the shallows available, and they were all tested at 50m indoors, as well as 25 and 50m outdoors.
The best one shot the below group indoors out of a FX Crown, from my RAW it did pretty much the same.

Outdoors the best batch was tested from a FX M3 and a MK2, on bench rest targets. The wind was 5-15 km/h and swirly. Score at 25m was a 249, 50m scored a 243. Pretty impressive for pellets straight from the tin!

It would seem as if JSB have sorted their quality control issues out. (Pavel confirmed to me via email that they measure the pellets more often during the manufacturing process, he also confirmed that they have stepped up quality control).
