Manny I know you cannot really decide what others might want but out of the two for hunting would you choose. Remember I am going for .22 cal. I need it to be a swishsssss. The entire reason I am playing with air is to not have to hear bang. I am hoping to dump more time into the pcp world then my powder burners.

Me I would go for the Standard for sure, I like what I can do with un-regulated guns and moreso if they have a power adjuster.

The shroud cap unscrews and you can ad directly a LDC to the gun,......Neil Clague makes great LDCs and you can order the length you want according to your needs.

He also makes wonderful reflexed LDCs





JTS guns use a shroud that is the same as EVANIX guns, so just tell Neil to make a LDC for a Rainstorm, he has all the measurements in house already

Decided to keep my Winchester as my low power gun, so I maxed out the spring on the MAX and this is the string I got,

200 BAR 28gr Benjamin pellets :

45 FPE for 22 shots and can get more if fill to 240 BAR

this is also the best string yet, guess the gun is also breaking in or she just really like this tune

Right now I just want to make a comparison with a rifle that I know, I never had a regulated gun so I will not try to compare the MAX

So I'm trying to compare the Standard to an other gun I had and I will do that with the Marauder .25



Weight, ......... not even a contest

Ergonomics,.......not even a contest

JTS butter smooth sidelever, Marauder crunchy bolt action

JTS very nice all metal magazine, Marauder cheap plastic one

JTS positive barrel band, Marauder kinda useless barrel band that needs to be modified.

JTS 5 position Power adjuster, Marauder none

JTS stock maxed out 50 FPE for 22 shot, my Marauder maxed out gave me 16 shots at 45 FPE

JTS Standard 320 bucks, Marauder 530 bucks





Wish I had experience with regulated guns so I could do a comparison with the MAX but all I know is that she's performing mighty well and the last string I took looked great by any standards.

1st of all, does it matter ? ..........Huben is China made, seems like it's a dang good product to me :) ( I had 8 made in U.K. HILL pumps, the one China 50 bucks pump I've been using the past 3 years has been vastly superior the those 300 bucks pumps )

Opinions from experts give the workmanship on the JTS big thumbs up, .......my not so expert opinion is that the gun is well made.



And lastly,...the Marauder is "NOT" USA made, they tried that several years ago, to put the "Made in the US" on the box and they got shut down pretty quickly :) :)

But hey...they been banking on the fact that many people believe that for a long time and that sure helps sales,...obviously :) :)
