N/A JTS AirAcuda Max .22 vs Avenge-X .22

I am looking to buy a new rifle. Which one of the two is more precise / accurate at 50 to 100 meter, shooting pellets?
It would depend on what you want. With the avenger you will have the freedom to adjust to your liking, you can get a good amount shots. You will also run the risk of getting a barrel that won't shoot worth a crap, or a barrel that is a stellar pellet or slug shooter, maybe one that shoots both extremely well.

On the other hand, the Aircuda will be cheaper in price, will be solidly built, but you won't get as many shots, and from what I understand you can't just tune it up or down easily. Very accurate either way.

With regard to the "Max", the regulator adjustment is internal. Just have to degass and remove the tank/tube. I get 30 shots up to the reg setting at 895 FPS.

Gotcha, good to know! Most guns now a days can already provide tthatpower and shot count right out of the box. The AV Avenger can get you a little over 60 shots at the same power level for about the same price. That's why I said it depends on what he wants and wants to do.

Dunno. Maybe I got a "unicorn". In the 6-7 weeks I've had it I've put well over 2000 pellets through it and no complaints. When the accuracy falls off I clean the barrel and that corrects it. I just can't stop shooting it!
Not a unicorn, but you're lucky, IMO. Avenge-X has mainly complimentary feedback from owners while Airacuda Max is the opposite. Few Avenge-X complaints and few satisfied Max owners seems to be a recurring theme. Consider buying a lottery ticket. WM

The more important issue is someone mentioning the "hot redhead" and posting a pic of KG...( I can't even print the name), in the same post......wow!

Not sure I agree with you that redheads are a more important issue than BB-guns. But based on the reactions, some of us find them just as interesting/entertaining. "To each, his own".

80 yds today with the Max. 20 shots, 3 of them fliers in 5 mph cross winds.

I built one myself . changing reg pressure is a 5 minute deal counting de-gasing ! The avenger takes 3 minutes ! YEA Rizz you will but you must have patience grasshopper . That is some fine shooting and i KNOW THE AIRACUDA IS UP TO IT .
This is (surprisingly) out of the box performance. not gonna mess with it at all. I dont consider .22 to be stable in windy conditions. I like .25 better @ 33gn. Since my battle with UX is over with and they sent me a check for the crappy G2's they sent me, I just ordered a Rainson Edge X in .25 from AoA. They couldn't give me much info regarding any successes in tuning but I ordered it anyway. out of the box they said it will do 34 ft/lbs with heavier pellets. FPS is supposed to be around 860. I will break it in this weekend and then tune it up and see what I get.
BTW, the "ding" in the target holder happened when I swapped my favorite scope over from the Cuda to my Notos. got lazy and tried to sight it in at 50 yds. DOH!
