JTS Dead Center pellets

I had a chance to pick up some demo JTS Airgun pellets at RMAC, and some tins of the .22 caliber in 25.4 grain and the .25 caliber in 33.9 grain, so equivalents of the JSB Monster RD and the JSB King Heavy.

I shot them this past weekend from my .22 Delta Wolf and my .25 Red Wolf in very windy conditions. I must say that performance was every bit as good as the JSB versions. These JTS pellets come in the smaller tins and are very clean and consistent in size and weight. They shot at the same speed as the JSB equivalents, and the BCs were also equivalent since the drop at 100 yards was the same.

I'll do more testing with these in calmer conditions so I can determine accuracy and precision better.... So far so good, give them a try if you have a chance to get a hold of some. So far, I've only seen the .22 cal. 18.1 and .25 cal. 25.4 for sale online...

I scored some at RMAC as well, lot of people were raving about the .30 cal. He has a lot of sizes available (at some point) including some 22ish grain .22 pellets. As Centercut said, they are very clean and weights are supposedly pretty close (haven’t had the chance to weigh them yet).

Well from a PA review

Where made?

These pellets are made in China. Are they a rebranded pellet made by someone else? No. I have been told they are brand new and that a whole line of them is coming.

Will the quality remain high? How do I know? I don’t have a crystal ball to see into the future. But I will say that this is a great start.

Now will you ser china made pricing or ??? ..lol

Regarding China made pellets, I've shot some QYS in .177 cal since they don't make other calibres and those shoot really well.
And probably cleanest and best looking pellets I've shot in a long time.
By best looking I mean no damaged ones in a tin and I do appreciate a screw on lid.

Ya if china pellets made ad good as german or chech and sold to me at a fraction of there pricing im in..

I bet the middle man here in the usa will see to that not happening.. lol

I’m glad to hear there’s a potential contender for JSB. Too bad the China origins has not produced any economic incentive to entice people to buy them. Hard to peel customers away from the most respected brand when they wear the same price tag.
True... One good thing I noticed is that the .22 Monster RDs look like the 2017/2018 JSB versions with the shallow cavity, and not the deep cavity seen on current RDMs... The potential is there to be better than the current JSB RDMs with less flyers (like they used to be). Will know soon, I have another tin to try out this weekend... As far as the .25 King Heavy version, they look like the Mk2 version vice the "Mk1" version.

Kinda to what i said about the middle man china cost but Europe made pricing.. pretty lucrative profit ..lol

In the end ots still a pay to play system..

I’m not a metallurgist but the JSB’s feel softer to me. Or at least that what my eye tooth concluded.

When the lead is really soft it is hard to manufacture with consistency and protect from damage. I rather have harder lead pellets that are more consistent than soft pellets that are not consistent/damaged. My paper targets don't need soft lead for a humane kill. :ROFLMAO:

I'm waiting for 177 10.4 grain pellet from them! In 22 the CPHP works just fine for me.
