JTS pellets - specs?

I was starting to think those JTS pellets in anything else than 18gr were vaporware. The 18gr ones are available in Europe but I haven't seen any other grain weights. I'm also curious to see what they can do at 50m. JSB MRD's are erratic at best these days. Shooting a 10-shot group, 8 will fly straight and true, the 2 remaining take the scenic route. Not what I'm looking for in a pellet for bench rest shooting.

I shot a bunch of the JTS .22/25.4 yesterday all @ 100 yards. Also shot a bunch of JSB MRDs.

My conclusion is that the extremes are more extreme with the JTS. The good ones are REALLY good (pellet flies right straight and true and makes a hole right where the crosshairs are) and the bad ones are REALLY bad(pellets goes corkscrewing and sometimes missed the entire sheet of paper).

I was shooting for score using the EBR format and the funny thing is that both JSB and JTS had similar scores. Looking at a JSB card there were lots of 7s and 8s. And looking at a JTS card there were lots of tens and 6s. But when tallied, the scores were similar.

So same problem as the JSB MRDs from 2020-2023....untrustable.

Funny to be told that. My "high power" airgun is only 45-50fpe.

Got 8 or 10 others though, good chunk of them clustered around 19fpe. Couple around 8-9fpe, and another couple at 5-6fpe. With one thats easily adjustable from 19-32fpe.

I'm short, I'm a low power airgunner. That's why I like them.

I'm not a power hound, just want to be semi-competitive in long range high power field target. And some of the people that put on those matches use targets that my 30ish fpe preferred long ranger simply won't knock down. If the game was just about precision I'd be fine with my 30fpe gun because it has plenty of that to be competitive. The game requires not only putting a pellet where you want it, but also knocking the hell out of the paddle when it gets there.

said in a Joking manner , I like to stretch my 4.8 FPE SSP 10 meter gun to Long distance ,maybe like 30 yards so same difference ?

I can see the initial excitement with these pellets fading. At least reading feedback from paper rings shooters @ 100 meters/yards distances.
I asked Igor if he could include these to Strelok Pro, but he would need the dimensions but the BC the most. I would by and measure but have no direct and quick access to these.

Are these pellets worth the expense and effort for shooting paper rings @ 100? My main interest would be replacing the .22 MRD's.

If this is worth anything to you....I shoot a spring gun at100 yds a good bit. Diana 54 in .22,, tuned. My most consistent pellet shooting 5 shot groups under 1.4 has been the JTS. For what ever reason it is second best at 50 but seems to hang together at 100. Bur, every gun likes what IT likes.

I have been shooting the JTS 22.07 grain pellets for quite awhile out of my RAW HM1000X and so far I get a lot better consistent accuracy with them than I can with the JSB 25 grain pellets. I still get some occasional fliers but not as bad as the JSBs. I don't know what speeds you guys are shooting them but I'm running them right at 1000 fps and they seem to do quite well for me

I’m shooting the JTS 22.07 in my 35” Epoch at 1028 and they produce better groups at 50 yards than the MRD at any fps I tested them

They did shoot 1/2” average groups at 50 yards for one outing, where I was testing them vs. JSB MRDs.

I did a similar test at 70y with about ten shots all touching.

The next day I ordered a full sleeve of the same lot. Subsequent testing resulted in those great shots 80-90% of the time. So my first couple 70y groups were lucky good.

I have not dug into sorting them to try and weed out flyers. My focus lately has been on .177 stuff and shortly, .30 stuff.
