I need to attach a bipod to the daystate air ranger, any suggestions would be appreciated! It's a tack driver but a bipod would help me tremendously on those long shots, thanks everyone!

Just order yourself a sling stud from ebay or AOA and you'll want to fit it half way between the end of the stock and the filling port then id suggest a Harris Bipod. Here is a video of a Air Wolf with a harris on it note where the sling stud is that's where you're going to want to install yours.

Thanks for the video link and advice ozone08, I was thinking also of making some type of mount to attach to the barrel shroud or the bottle, anyone know if something touching the shroud or barrel would affect accuracy or cause any other issues?

I wouldn't recommend attaching a bipod to the barrel shroud it WILL affect accuracy, You can buy bipod mounts that fit over the bottle but i personally don't like to support the weight of a gun on its bottle. Get yourself a sling stud its the cheapest and most effective option.

That's what I was thinking but thought I would ask as the farther forward the bipod the more stable the setup. I will start on that project hopefully next weekend!

I too say install a stud.
"Dr. Bob" and maybe add "buddy bottle" on a google search should find the bottle rings that allow attachment AND have always ( right or wrong ) scraed me to death.

Ya my RAW HM1000x does not like to be rested on the bottle. I have only tried it on a bench rest and not a bipod but it does not group as well as when the rest is on the stock just behind the bottle. I vote for the sling stud or you could mount a short picatinney rail which is what I would do.

Interesting, I may have to print groups with the Daystate resting on the stock vs the bottle and see if there's a difference.

More than one (1)? Funny. I started (w/ PCP) with a B-50 and it wasn't bad, but I felt like it needed more attention than I had knowledge and skill. I thought it was going to be my, "ONE!!!!!!!!!," PCP rifle. Now I have four, and I have plans for 2 or 3 more.
On a different note. I have a little more knowledge and skill than I did back then, and that B-50 is now a .22 with an awesome power curve that is my favorite gun to keep in the shop while my newer more powerful .25 Cricket stays in the house with less chances to take a shot, and my Marauders haven't even been out of their cases in a month.
Of all my airguns the B-50 is one I would buy another one of if the right deal came along.
On a different note.
