When the low pressure air enters the Altaros, it enters a water separator and then it enters a desiccant filter before compressing into high pressure. Even in the highest humidity conditions I have only seen a few drops of water in Altaros water separator and nothing in desiccant filter. This is running it 6 hours or more. Most of the moisture occurs when hot air leaves the home compressor and starts cooling. That is what the dryer loop is for. When it enters the Altaros it is cooled and not much condensating after that. I don't know if the air is heated when it is compressed by Altaros or not. You would have to ask Altaros that question. They have been tested for 2 years by CZ. I would not think there would be any moisture or Altaros would be telling their customers to use another filter after high compresson.
