Just going to stop ordering *stuff*

I solved so far my package problem by having a PO Box in a usps office.. up today no package lost in 3 years..
Im very close to doing this myself. Luckily with my small community the post at least from here is always on track. Its when it gets further down the line that issues occur. Just my experience. So anything of high value is always signature required and doesnt touch usps with a 100 foot pole, UPS is my go to generally. They once put a package on a doorstep across the street in a bad neighborhood years ago. Homeowner denied having it duh so 🤷🏻‍♂️. UPS gave me 900$ to cover their mistake.

I have a package in transit from Barstow (socal desert) to Oakland.
400 miles by freeway.
Shipped 3-14, expected delivery 3-17.
It has been "in transit to next facility" since 3-17.
I'm thinking that the tortoise they were using as a courier has died in route.
Well, it finally showed up last night around 7pm. 400 miles and 8 days.
