just home and new to me HW30

Went to a PB gun show today , sold 2 pistol's and ran across THIS !! HW 30 with Williams peep sites and a tag $145.00 so i said will you take $100 even . The suspense was gruesome ! took the guy almost 4 seconds to say yes .

got home and shot a few .177 , seems good , looks good , two minor scratches is all , looks almost new .

scratch this off my Findley OH list .

I could hit every show in 100 miles and yard sales ,ect and best find is a wore out red rider priced higher then new walmart.. air guns just never been a thing here outside the walmart stuff.

I find id odd also, I saw a very nice new looking Sheridan SS a few years ago and kick myself for not buying it , guy wanted $200 , at the time i thought that was outrageous > Now i could not get that $200 out of my pocket fast enough .

BTW the center dot on this target looked like 1/4 of the front blade width on this front globe sight .

Gotta love the unexpected finds like that. I'll be at the Findlay show, looking forward to meeting some people. Hope to see you there beerthief. My brother is bringing a couple of blue streaks that shoot well, a hold down safety and a rear safety. Maybe you can check them out as they are well within your price range.

Now get some Air Arms Falcon 7.33 grain pellets for your new rifle. I have the Beeman R7 version, and it loves the Falcons. They are made by JSB , but with dies from AA. My FWB 124D loves them as well.

Heck i think one guy here this week found 3 and one he picked up was a hw98 and the picture of it in the table price tag was $120 then he dickerer it down some more .. lol

Oh well maybe ine day i could be in the right place at the right time.. in 40+ years youd think my time should show up soon.. ya, youd think.

That is an awesome find at an awesome price. I absolutely love my HW-30S with the Williams peep on it. I don't shoot it often anymore as the PCPs have pretty much taken over, but it never fails to bring a smile to my face when I do shoot it.

I also added a weaver rail just in front of the peep, and it lets me drop a nice little AO 4x scope on it with quick mounts for longer range shooting or for when others are over that don't like the peep . . . no need to touch the peep or adjust the scope much as it goes on and off the gun.
