Is the 65 up to your expectations...?Thats some fine shooting!
While I currently ownmostly high powered airguns there is a lot to be said for the more sedate ones. Ive been genuinly enjoying my new to me 777 & Diana 65. So much so that I intend to expand my collection with more <12fpe guns.
I just did the Pilkington trigger modification this morning. Very straight forward instructions, but I would still recommend a few pictures of your own along the way.Sweet targets. That’s a great use of old playing cards.
I have an 853 from the CMP. It needs a stock refinish but I haven’t made the time for that yet. At ten meters she is very accurate. BUT, that trigger is just terrible. You really have to concentrate and have patience with that trigger. I have heard of trigger mods and tutorials to help but haven’t tried those yet. Besides that trigger she is a fun sized rifle with just the right power and precision for plinking and ten meter shooting.

Thanks for the info. I need to make some time to try it myself.I just did the Pilkington trigger modification this morning. Very straight forward instructions, but I would still recommend a few pictures of your own along the way.
Made a significant difference for sure.
I was just considering trying that with diopters!Rich,
That is fun but now, turn the cards, 90 degrees….
Shot at 10 yards with FWB601..peep and aperture..

It has significnatly exceeded them!Is the 65 up to your expectations...?
I’m so pleased you’re happy with the 65. I was certain you would only need a shot or two, to realize what a fine rifle it is. Thanks for saving me from myself…good luck with your “competition “ JohnIt has significnatly exceeded them!
I have never shot a recoiless springer before so my surprise when I fired the 1st shot can not be overstated. Superb trigger, buttery smooth action, zero recoil & only the slightest auggestion of vibration. It was truly love at 1st shot
I havent made more than a handful of shots in my basement so far but I am taking the rest of the year off so plan to do some significat shooting tomorrow. Its supposed to cool off tonight & be in the mid 30's tomorrow. A little chilly but not enough to keep me off my range. I will find out what pellets she likes & get her zeroed to be minute of chicken for the upcoming shooting competition
Its supposed to be in the mid 50's & clear next week so fine wheather to hand my boy his ass with the Diana & I am looking forward to it!
