Just ordered a Yong Heng compressor and filter

from AliExpress yesterday. Filter has shipped and compressor is being processed. Hope this works good as I'm tired of running out of air all the time. I'll use it to top off my 88cf tank and sometimes to fill guns direct. My uncle has a single piston Tuxing and it works good on guns but not for tanks. He also has an Mrodair 2 cyl and it works great for filling tanks. Very fast. This Yong Heng seems to be in between those two.

It sounds like there might be something wrong with your uncle's pump. The single cylinder Tuxing should have about the same output as the Yong Heng which is pretty quick. I hope yours is good. So far, mine has been fine.

Mind if I ask which seller you purchased from? I've been eyeballing one but there are so many different sellers. The seller I was reading good US reviews on had them priced at $215.xx before shipping. The one where you can manually set the cutoff limit.

Also could you perhaps point me to the filter you speak of. I've got my first decent airgun ordered and am doing tons of research, trying to get all my ducks in a row.

I bought from AliExpress and got the std 110v Hardcover model. $190 plus shipping $327 total. The filter is the gold one like other users ordered $79.00 shipped.

Ive had a Yong Heng compressor for about 3 months and its one of the best things Ive bought in years.
I fill direct to my Gamo Urbans tank and takes about 30 seconds from 1200 to 3000psi.
just ordered a FX Streamline so that`ll probably take longer to fill,would think around 1 minute give or take.

The gold filter that people are using on the Yong Heng,whats a typical setup for this filter,I presume the main reason for using it is to reduce/lower moisture.

yes, it is an extra step to prevent moisture . My uncle has one on his Mrodair compressor and it works great.

Got my filter in today. Only 4 days from China for $9.00 shipping chg. Unbelievable. 
it is a Tuxing brand with the wrench flats and a hole for rod to tighten and loosen. 
compressor should be here Thursday, one week after ordering.
