Out of the package it looks new. The first thing I do with any scope I buy whether new or used is find the optical center by spinning the scope in a 4-wheel modified arrow straightner. The scope was Vertically about 8" off at 40 yards. I then tried to find the mechanical center by putting the Vertical and windage turrets in the middle of the adjustment range. The windage worked out OK but the Vertical only had about 84 clicks from where I started rotating it outward to the outer stop. Turning it the opposite direction (down) I came to the same stop I started from. I removed the vertical turret cover and someone had already locked the zero stop. I' guessing that someone touched this scope before it arrived to me. What do you think? The serial # is 214063, 02215. On the windage turret I get 3 full 60 click turns and a additional 24 clicks. Called the company for tech info but they were only open Monday thru Friday. Thanks, Bill
