Just saw at Krale

Yes but you dont really get a twist rate on over the counter rifles, is is 1:17 or so in .177, and that's not going to spin / cut it.

And from what i am hearing here and there, no one seem interested in making such a .177 barrel, not even FX from whom it should be more easy due to the way they do their straw barrels.
alfa precision makes 1:14,6 TR blanks and LW 1:16 . standard 12 groove unchoked

1:14 might cut it, but i am not going to go with a after market barrel blank, CUZ i have no way of machining it myself, and i would want that VS even if i could afford to outsource that job.

I am not sure if the mentioned LW barrel is what Víking airgunner tested on his FX, but either of the 2 barrels he tried was not a success in any way.
I also had to return the initial LW barrel i got with my Two as it had a massive choke in the middle 1/ 3 - 1/4 of the barrel, not what you like to see in a unchoked barrel, and even in choked, well it is not in the middle you put it.

I am also familiar with the alpha precision brand of barrels, but that is also it, never seen on e for sale over here in EU Ville

Airgun Heaven have the AP barrel blanks on sale.
Simply need to find a EU turner.

Viking tested a polygonal 1:17,7 in which in all the airguns i tested that had that barrel where not able to shoot any slugs at all. the only one that shot good was a red wolf. on the other hand my RAW hm1000 had a standard 12 groove and would shoot anything i fed it at any speed thats why i chose to get the 1:16 no choke from huma air. alfa precision has a website and will sell you a barrel from a warehouse in spain and its half the price than Airgun heaven. i want to mention that we can only shoot .177 where i live and we have almost zero support in airguns

What's the store called?

huma air has the LW 1:16 12groove in stock. alfa-precision has their own barrels
Sorry I didn't specify, the ap barrels are shipped from soain if you order odf their website? Or do they have a specific site for the shop in spain? The barrels are 110 euro but I assume shipping is gonna be likely around twice the price of the barrel.

The LW 28” slug prototype barrel that I am testing at the moment in a Daystate Red Wolf GP .177 HP setup is doing great with the Zan 20 gr slugs 👍🎯🙂

Thanks,
Were any customs duties applied?

Shipping from within the EU shouldn't involve any customs duties, fees etc.

I'm in Europe, 😉.
No custom duties involved😁
Shipping is 8 euro per barrel, so 2 barrels 16 euro, 4 barrels 32 euro. Each barrel is packed in a pvc tube so that would be most of the cost.

I noticed my Two can also shoot 20 grain slugs, BUT ! not at those speeds. i have to keep them under 900 - 910 FPS

I am thinking about trying one of the poly AP barrels, but there are some issues in that regard, first and foremost i would have to make a custom shroud as i dont think i can get one long enough to machine it to 700 mm and so fit in the current Two shroud / tensioning system.
And so i would need the 2 end pieces made or buy them from Epic, and then get my hands on a CF tube i can cut to length.

OR ! i could of course just shoot the bare barrel free floating, in which case i would just need the 1 end adapter and then of course machine the other end to take a moderator.
I am not a barrel tensioning whore as such, a free floating barrel is probably just fine.

For the AP barrel 110 EURO is a lot cheaper than what a 500 EURO granted complete LW barrel cost from Epic airguns.

Also. i have not yet seem 100 M or in my case 93 M groups in that size, still a bit erratic here so i am missing something it seem.

The damn thing is machining, i really - REALLY would want to do that myself, CUZ using a gun smith in Denmark, financially that is way out of possible CUZ it would make a AP barrel more costly than a complete LW barrel from Epic i am sure.
