Just the (orange) tip

My new setup looks pretty intimidating so I'm considering throwing an orange cover on my supressor so at a glance it doesn't look like a real sniper rifle.

I live in a 2a state so don't want any misunderstandings when out on trails and such.

Are there any implications to doing or not doing this and does anyone else use orange tips on their airguns?

That just call attention to your mod ?
It is a proven fact that Deer are color blind , done know about Squirrels ?
Ahhh yes.... Squirrels can "see" orange. Hence why when you're sitting completely still in a deer stand in full blaze orange they see you and start barking. It'd not so much they see the color, but they see the lack of color to their eye and it alerts them. Now if it's camo blaze it doesn't stand out to them, but a full orange vest will get their attention.

That's when my air rifle barks back. Always carry one when deer hunting for that reason. Also, if I don't get a deer, I still get a plate full of Squirrels. Just gotta remember where they dropped at when you come down.

I think in todays world your idea is what more of us gunners should probably do any place that has people in close prox. to each other. It may help keep our sport safe from the government.

I live in a gun blazing state but because of how most of my airguns look, I take the remain invisible approach. If there are people around, you won’t catch me waltzing around with a PCP. There will be zero implications if nobody ever sees you wielding a PCP in a place we’re there are people to see it. Low key is key.

Not to talk about the G word but florida allows open carry while fishing, hunting or trecking or going to/ returning from any of these activities.

The issue is people don't know this law. Even many cops don't know it. I agree, best to fly under the radar.

There is a smart a$$ in Miami with a YouTube channel that likes to troll police and scare people (in exercising his rights) by open carrying ar15s on crowded fishing piers in the middle of the day.

Although he is not breaking the law, this is exactly how new laws get changed.

Mr cleverpants doesn't seem to get it.

Nothing like drawing attention to the muzzle being fitted with a "devise"
I here ya
I was chasing the Mrs. around the house, in the dark with one of those "glow in the dark" condoms so I get the muzzle attention, what I forgot was the draw the window blind part. the neighbors still won't make direct eye contact with me:rolleyes:
