Just thinking outloud about over bore..

Now I am wondering if a chinese clone with the vevor single seal high pressure piston and head can be bored out to fit a tuxing/yong heng piston.. Maybe press out the old bore from the housing, drill and press a new one in.. .. Probably cheaper to but the new head for $80..

sounds like a lot of machining to save $80! If you have the tools, skills and time, but since I don't have any of the three, I'd spend the $80

I think I was reading elsewhere that you can replace the whole top end of a Vevor with that of a Yong Heng for <$100

Depending on the difference, it may be easier to cut down the diameter of the piston

yes cutting down the piston, but you would also have to do the seals..

Funny you guys are talking about this. I,m looking into maybe boring one out as we speak. I have not pulled the head off mine to see the wall thickness yet, but if

that is not a option I,m looking at the seals. Im leaving town tomorrow, so I when I get back I will get back with you. I would really like to modify this thing so we

can use after market seals.
