Just venting

I have no airgun retailer in my rural area of the state, I would have to drive 80+ miles to the nearest, that’s a lot of money in gas ($3.29 a gallon) plus my time, so the shipping costs are still a bargain (as long as it’s gets to me in one 1pc.) I’m not complaining, Must remember their costs are going up to.

We’re still buying these gun, parts, pellets etc. To me it’s just a hobby for fun not profit! So if $5 bucks is braking the bank then I need to stop buying then shipping costs will not be a issue anymore

I find conversation about cheaper alternative is a loser for my business. The customer isnt happy with the results and I pay the salesman $10 to discuss saving the customer $3 on a $20 item.

We as most businesses figure out the 20% of packaging/shipping options for our product that provide the 80% good results with bias towards 100% good results. Then execute that plan. We have metrics and adjust for improvement, while the customer just has anectdotal experience.

Nothing is 100% and most businesses don't want customer service issues so plan accordingly.

Searching on the net is worth your time.

To me, this post is about available forms of shipping and the costs associated. I posted a legitimate question about a new method of shipping because I am interested if there are valid reasons not to use it. Per usual on this forum lately I get a snide remark from a user that is here to troll other users comments. So, at this point my question is to Michael. Is it legal to say Bite-Me on this forum?

As far as I have experienced, smartpost is a blend of common carrier (FedEx) and the USPS. Depending on where you live and the performance of the last leg, it may be faster/more convenient to have the USPS make the delivery and have FedEx do the cross-country part. I have no complaints with smartpost - and the mail delivers here around 1200-1300 while FedEx comes after 5pm usually.

Rather then get into a "bite-me", click on the offender's profile and then click on HIDE MEMBER - presto! You will never see him again. Nirvana...
