for years now I've heard friends brag up tenderizing deer steaks. So I bought one this fall as an attachment for my wifes Kitchen Aid mixer... Although the gears are plastic on this attachment I think that if you just do your own meat it will last and let me brag to you that it does make the steaks incredible. you only cut them 1/2 inch thick and run them through it twice once one way then turn 180 degrees and run it through the second time. I just breaded them with flour and fried them but let me be the one to tell you they are great.... enjoy.....
