Tuning Kalibrgun Cricket 2 Tactical - tuning help?

I just got a Cricket 2 Tactical in .22 and would like to increase the power a bit. I've already maxed out the hammer spring pre-tension. So the next step would be to adjust the regulator. But first I have to de-gas the rifle, so how should I do that? There isn't a pressure gauge on the plenum and I don't see a de-gassing port anywhere. Any Cricket 2 gurus out there?

Ask you tube! I haven't worked on my original in a long time. However, comes to mind, on base of air tube (nearest block) there is a grub screw. Loosen it carefully and degas.

If I'm wrong, before I get jumped on, read first sentence. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A REGULATOR ADJUSTING "UNIT", YOU'RE GUESSING.

Yes, that is correct the grub screw at the end of the air cylinder nearest to the receiver is the degassing port. Here is a link to a video that Ernest Rowe did on the subject. In the first 60 seconds of the video he explains the degassing screw. The rest of the video he is talking about a degassing tool he made that he prefers to use.

Not sure if they have fixed the glitch in our search feature here yet so if it's not working use Google search someone here posted a nugget about flipping the plenum on the ctac 2 to get a little more energy also. I don't remember the guys handle here though.

Just found it Ctshooter made post on the 18th about flipping the plenum. I am still figuring out how to use everything here so I don't know how to link it for you, but our search feature seemed to work that's how I went back to find it.

@Stretch - I think i can help you here. To remove the air tube you have to undo a few parts - it's very straightforward.

Remove the 5mm screw and take off the buttstock. Undo the screws on the right side with the cocking handle and remove the plate with a T10 torx. Under there loosen the 3 3mm screws to free the air tube.

From the bottom of the gun at the back. There are two set screws just past the end of the air tube (3mm IIRC). Loosen both of those. You may need to take a thin flatblade screwdriver to start moving the air tube forward. Once loosened remove a tube and bottle from front of gun.

From here unscrew the small 2mm set screw and bleed the air tube.

Unscrew both ends of the air tube and push out the regulator.

I highly recommend watching Ernest Rowes video on modifying the Cricket regulator to see how to increase the setting.

You can also flip the airtube for a larger plenum which I show here: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/sharing-a-cricket-2-tactical-unadvertised-feature/?referrer=1

Hope this helps.
