Kalibrgun Cricket mini-Carbine article Hard Air Magazine

Great read, thanks for sharing. And it would have sure been fun to have been a part of a 300+ rat night. I'd pay $$ to have that much fun.
Yes, it was like a video game.... all shots from 5 to 35 yards. We were giggling like schoolgirls. One of the best airgun times ever. Nick even hit one running across our field of view at about 25 yards. What a shot!!!

Centercut, thank you for the link. Your article motivated me to dig my Cricket II Smooth out of the safe and rethink the lack of use. Took it to the local indoor range and had a blast with it.
It is tuned to shoot JSB 18.13’s and does a great job. Came from the factory tuned shooting the 18’s at 920. It was pretty accurate but I backed the hammer spring off until it was at 890 and the accuracy improved to the point of it being impressive.
Normally I am all over our FX guns and the Cricket has languished. After today and shooting the gun with an open mind and eyes I came to appreciate it. Fairly simple, accurate and no muss no fuss just puts pellets where you aim them.
The only thing I really need to do is adjust the trigger. It is like a two stage bowl of oatmeal. Everything I can find says they have a pretty good trigger. Little research and I have some instruction on the way to do that.
It will be back at the range soon as i have the trigger fixed.

Pretty cool Buddy. Looks like a nice set up. I'm just learning about these guns. When you said "mag dump" method what were you referring to??
In Pro and Sportsman division Speed Silo you start with an empty gun and empty magazines. One option is to single load and shoot. The other option is to load two magazines. (Must be factory OEM mags) and then shoot. Mag dump is the method of dumping pellets on the mag and having a good percentage of them self load. See the video for how I did the Cricket mags.
