Karma Karma Red Panda Bench Model

The barrel I.D. photo was before cleaning. Looks like BSA old style smooth rounded lands. Yes, STO Falx - M18X1. STO should sponsor Team Centercut, lol.

I’ll try slowish and fast. The RP is very easy to tune.
Great. You hear that STO?

Thats what the lands look like on the factory Skout barrels.

Post that photo of the radial transfer port. Most will think it's a new concept, but it is a great way to engineer a high flow port from breech to barrel. For benchrest, I'd go as slow as possible as long as accuracy is equivalent to "fast". But if 940 is most accurate, then it is what it is.

To me it looks like the barrel needs a good brass brushing with some Ballistol or Gunzilla. Then a good cleaning with some tight patches. I don't think I'd polish it at this time...

I can guarantee you that if it said made in Germany on this RP, no one would question it. The machining and quality of build is high level.
Derrick I am not saying that All of the gun construction and components are of poor quality...

What I am saying is for the retail price point of this gun they certainly should Not put Any cheap parts on it..
You don't see "50 cent" gauges on a German. Czech, or Any European gun at, or below, the price of the RP...

Paying Mercedes Benz prices, you expect a certain standard Throughout

Cheap gauges are actually used on lot of European & Czech guns now, unfortunately. It’s a problem for sure. Daystate, BRK, Taipan, AGT and many others.

Bfloyd is a gauge snob. champange problems eh? so long as they work. i dont think it will curtail sales on the RP, Karma has made a quality shooter.

Wow very disappointing. Hopefully they get you fixed up really quickly. If more like this happen I'm sure there'll be an upgrade to cases real quick.

Sent it back today. Will be getting a new one I think that block is junk it pulled the bolts right out no threads left in there to put them back in

Derrick,
As far as I know about the old stock BSA PCP barrels, those are not polygonal. Those have round edges on only one side of lands and have 12 grooves. Shallow grooves and gradually choked during the hammer forging process.

The pic you have shared is very much like LW Polygonal barrel.

Just my thoughts. Please don't mind.
