AirMaks Arms Katran sc question …

Soo I got a Katran sc in 22 and it will not predictably fire … I activate the mechanism and , pull the trigger and no dice… I’m hella irritated because it’s brand new, but at the same time I’m trying to be happy because it was a gift and I don’t want my roomate/landlord to see me soo bummed.. on top of that she ordered it from overseas .. I installed the aftermarket krait trigger which wasn’t to hard .. soo I’m not opposed to “getting under the hood” and taking a peek .. maybe a few helpful tips prior to what might be the issue would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try shooting it before changing over the trigger?

Are you sure you ordered the correct trigger?
Did you install the trigger correctly?

If everything is good.. it could be the sear engagement that is off. The trigger may just need to be adjusted a bit until it fires.

That’s what I was thinking , that engagement grub screw… No , I didn’t order a trigger yet for the Katran… it was the krait I installed it in ..
that’s what I will do… I’ve taken off the side plate screws ,, I’m just held up on the safety screw. It’s super tight .. I don’t want to strip

I should have been more descriptive on my initial write up… I installed the krait trigger on my krait as a separate prior project , sorry I wasn’t more precise ….just stated that to show I’m not opposed to taking out tools and go to work ..

Yessssss! I got it fixed ! Kinda glad I was faced with the challenge.. Wow the Katran is easy to tune!
