Beeman King of Budget PCP Accuracy.

Many a manufacturer and journalist claim to have made or reviewed 'The King of Budget PCP's'.
Depending on what you are after, there are many to choose from.
But what about the most accurate pcp for the least amount of money?
An air rifle that can shoot as good or better than shooter behind the trigger?
For me, this is an easy one: the Beeman qb Chief single shot.

Steve Scialli shot a 1.19 cc group at 100yds on his AEAC YouTube channel.
His reaction was priceless.
Other reviews tell the same story of stunning accuracy for a $178 price tag.
The crossbow trigger can be made to beak glass rod crisp at a few ounces, and Beeman's qb series barrels have an excellent reputation.
Since the Chief is based on the qb78, all mechanics and mods are well documented and easy to do.

While not a pcp I have a Beeman AR2078B C02 rifle. I am constantly amazed with how this sub $200 rifle performs at ten meters. The accuracy seems all out of proportion to the money spent. Last Friday I was introducing a new shooter to my air rifles. We were shooting silhouettes. At one point I hot glued these little tiny cake sprinkles to the backs of the rams. At ten meters we were knocking the little “star sprinkles” off the rams without even moving the rams. My buddy is not a shooter ( yet) and had never shot this rifle before that day and yet it performed great for him.

I believe it! I'm told the 2078b has a special choked barrel in addition to the engineered barrel weight. The sidelever looks awful nice, too. Thanks for the feedback, sir.

Of the guns mentioned this far, the Chief is the only one I don't have. Oh, and my Avenger is a .25, not the .22.
I agree that all of them are accurate beyond their price.
But today I finish putting the Buck Rail tactical conversion kit the Avenger and took it out for a 45yd trying out. I was shooting my cast 250 27 RF pellets and it was just stacking one on top of the other.
Yeah, it's no longer a sub $300 gun with the $150 kit added but, it was just as accurate before that upgrade.
I get it, folks want what they want and are willing to spend the money to get it.. but I'm happy with this gun and what I paid for it.

Any of them can shoot, if you know how to shoot. Some are just better with the barrel lottery than others. The only thing on a budget airgun is can you get over the rest creating the budget, IE; nad trigger, bolt action, single shot, small mags, cheap stock, easy to break or too heavy. And other things, but all go into effect on keeping or not. My favorite was a kral NP03 that could shoot dimes at 50yds all day with crossmans 14.3g hps.
