Umarex Komplete nitro

The Nitrogen seems to have a higher pressure in gas form compared to CO2.
Which means higher velocities, close to lower powered PCPs.

Still, spending $10 for a Nitrogen cylinder to propel a few hundred shots is ridiculous.

Just buy a cheap PCP and a pump.
The cost of a Beeman PCP and a pump is less than $200, about the same price as a Komplete.

As mentioned earlier, this is a marketing ploy by Umarex not to sell rifles, but to sell consumable canisters. The only entity benefiting from this product is Umarex. My hobbies tend to revolve around a bit higher non-recurring-expense, and a lower recurring-expense.
Not to make a pun but Umarex is gaslighting this product. The ONLY reason they are using nitrogen is because it is inert, and is stable for long periods of time without oxidizing its container.
The Komplete is a king without klothes.

You folks do realize that this product is not marketed to PCP airgunner's, right? Evidently not, based on the PCP guys commenting here. For every boomer that has $4,000 to spend on a nice rifle, carbon fiber tank, and good HPA compressor, there's 1,000 guys who want an easier to use air rifle to take their kids shooting on Saturday morning.
I'm a boomer, and I shoot a lot. My all in budget for gear is about $1k. After that, I'm looking at about $0.06 a shot ($0.08 if I'm feeling fancy). 100 in a week is about $6, or about ~$312 a year. The Komplete is $312 in lead plus $722 in gas for the same amount of shooting. (And there is no way you get 90 shots at 1000fps either)

Plus... all those komplete disposable cartridges? You know. Save the planet and all.

Just for grins, I went to see what the shipping cost was for those cartridges. I went to Umarex USA just now (10/7/2024) and tried to add two of them to my cart. I was rewarded with the attached screen shot.
