Kowa....

I wonder the real reason Kowa doesn't get into the rifle scope market. They have some of the best glass around & know how to build some of the best spotters on the planet. I feel Fuji could do the same as some of there camera lens glass is above some at 3x times the price. 90f2 for example . Just thinking out loud & wishfull thinking.

I don't know about any Fuji glass ties with Kowa. I just feel Fuji has some glass the competes at high level & definately so does Kowa. . Kowa specializes in fluorite & most likely similar to glass in some Canon big whites.

@Jaxjax I think I see what you mean. I misunderstood.

Yep, Kowa puts out some really nice spotting scopes, pricey, but nice. I had one a few years ago and while it did what I needed, it was WAY too much scope than required. I ended up selling it for a really decent deal to the buyer.
I suppose that some of the camera lens glass makers could also get into the scope game (maybe some are already and I just don't know it...Leica is the only one that comes to mind?) as they have good glass as well.
