KRAIT todays 1 mag shot string

Figured some might be interested in this, seeing that there is a love-hate relationship with this gun. Me...I'm pretty fond of it.
I'll continue to monitor this gun but it does seem to be smoothing out. Shot this string after sitting 24 hours or so. I have not touched the valve yet and dont really know if I want to.

Seems to be pretty stable. Last time I shot a string over the chrono SD was 2.48 and 863 fps average. That was on Nov. 27
My fingers are crossed.

You said the other day that you set the gun to shoot the 18’s at 880. Now you’re at 863fps. I noticed one of my Krait regs did settle a little lower the next day so I wouldn’t be alarmed. Yet. I’m just curious.

You're absolutely correct. Had it for 880 and like you said it's settled in at 863 pretty much. That's okay with me that way I can throw 16 grainers in there also. I'm really liking this gun.

Hey Mike Nice group, Looks like your Stats and groups are similar to mine. Like you I'm found/like it keeping a eye on it though [LOL]
I'm confident Utah Air and AirMaks will stand behind the product. at least better than EGW. did for me.

Liking and trusting are two different things. One happens immediately, the other takes time. Keep us informed and there is nothing to be embarrassed about if your gun goes off it’s nut. It’s not your fault. At least with your new velocity drop you didn’t suddenly start getting crazy shot inconsistencies. You have your hammer set at a forgiving setting.

This gun "settling in" got me wondering why. Well it's me and not the gun. When I shoot a string I'm close to 15 yards away. When I adjusted the Krait for 880 I was at my work table with the chrono right next to me.
I confirmed this while on my second cup of coffee this morning. Now I'm going to make some bacon and eggs.
