Krale Air Shipping

I ordered an airgun from Krale Air and paid for the rifle and shipping. When UPS delivered the rifle, I had to pay them and additional 44. 00 to get the package. Has anyone else had this happen with Krale. Another rifle is arriving today, I'm wondering if It's going to cost me more for shipping again.

This is probably duty for the airgun. If it was over (I think $800) the US imposes a duty. I had it for a 3d printer I ordered, since the total order was over $800. I had DHL ask me for payment before delivery.

Ive ordered a few different items (never an airgun) from across the pond, and I never had to pay a duty.

Some of my "across the pond" purchases were definately over the $800 as someone already suggested.
Perhaps its dependent on where it ships from?

When I ordered my first P35 from Krale there was no duty. Then I ordered two in one order and had to pay the duty. I don't know why Krale doesn't collect it but they don't. I paid UPS (their shipper at the time).

Duty fee owed from purchases from the Netherlands has to do with a US import agreement covering one of the Dutch colonies in the Caribbean, which applies to the Netherlands, as well. Should be $66 for any amount over $800, collected by shipper, remitted to US government. WM

Do you know if they are good to do returns with or for refunds of any sort? They sent me a wooden stock 500mm .30 rather than the synthetic .177 I ordered. I ask about refunds given that I had to pay that duty fee for a gun that I clearly did not order.

Old-style balanced valve on U2 lasted few months, postage for warranty return, was on me. Cost $95 to ship, $45 return charge, import duty fee was not involved in warranty return process. They were willing to send repair parts but I wasn't sure what was wrong so just sent gun. WM

i got my grandson a vixen from krale for this past Christmas,
and i had to pay DHL for the "duty fees" they called it.

Best guess is you'll pay return shipping to Krale, they ship correct gun, no charge, they'll likely arrange for no import duty, which I suspect they can do. My original delivery of U2 was missing neoprene "freebie" work station mat, filed complaint, got $100 off on subsequent purchase of Vulcan 3 and mysteriously wasn't charged any import duty fee. WM
