N/A Kratos and the awkward swivel stud hole

Well this is awkward. I saw a video a while ago with someone mentioning there being a single hole for a pic rail on the kratos stock, and it way too far forward.

surprise surprise, it is (see pics.)

any thoughts on a solution here? I don’t mind it being a single hole, I just need my shtuff
to seat properly. Do I just have the wrong pic rail and bipod?

also, wtheck is the gold screw hole?! it doesn’t fit the swivel stud (I probably stripped the damn hole) and it‘s not mentioned in the instructions. Is it for shooting sticks or a gun stand or something?

That’s for the 3” pic rail provided with a new gun. An aluminum 3” pick rail from Amazon with two mounting holes is a much better setup. The Reximex one was plastic anyway.

Thank you! So will the 3” rail from Amazon occupy both of these existing holes, or will I have to add a new hole?

if you can‘t tell already, I bought this gun from you ;) it’s very good condition for the price from what I can tell. Happy buyer here. Thank you

Don’t use the existing thread. Pretend it’s not even there. Your going to get wood screws with the pic rail.

Maybe yours was made on a Friday? Mine fits great and hasn’t moved with bipod use.
Or maybe I just got lucky 🤷🏻‍♂️

But if it did move. It sure wouldn’t take much to drill a screw hole in it. To prevent any twisting.
