Kricket .35 shot groups

I finally had time to shoot my kricket at different ranges today. When I first got my kricket, I didn't know my carbon fiber tank needed to be topped off. My tank only had 2800 psi but it was enough for me to go out on my first hunt with it. I filled my tank back to 4500 psi and took both my 22-250 and the kricket to the shooting range. I wanted to know how the kricket would do at a hundred yards. I do have scope cam footage with the kricket shooting at 100 yards but I couldn't see the pellet. Was using a white board with orange targets taped to it. I'll have to paint the white board black and head back to the range. I was hoping to also do some 150 yards groups but the 100 yard range was almost off the sight picture in the scope and I didn't want to mess with the scope turrets once I get it sighted in. I got back home and finished shooting the kricket at 75, 60, 50, 35, and 20 yards. I filled the kricket to 220 bar at each range to make sure their was no discrepancy between one range to another. Slight wind from left to right at about 5 mph and gust to about 10 or 12 mph. Temperature is in the mid 90s with full sky overcast. Except of the 12 mph gust, its a very nice day to shot. Each range was shot four times.

I shot this 4 shout group at 75 yards with the scope cam. I wasn't trying for accuracy but I was trying to film the pellet fly through the air. 3 shots almost through the same hole with the 4th shot low

I noticed my POI changed when I was finally able to fill the gun to 220 bar. My 50 yard groups moved up about 1.5 inches. Another thing I i noticed is I got better accuracy when I filled the gun to 2800 psi. I'm going to try cleaning the gun and see if this will improve the accuracy. I will also try shooting the gun at different tank pressures. I could run the gun over a chrony but I need the trigger time. I'll put up chrony numbers when I find myself in the middle of the night with nothing to do.

Filling to different pressures shouldn't affect the accuracy. It should shoot with very little deviation and little extreme spread from 240 bar down to 140 bar. If your shooting for accuracy you should turn down the hammer spring to achieve 750-775 fps.

Speaking from experience that gun literally jumps out of a benchrest. You may want to try a bi-pod.
