Large cannister filters with small compressors. My experience so far.

I will picture below the setup. I am posting this to give some numbers about filling when using a personal compressor with a larger filter. I was actually expecting much worse times. To fill what you see, the hoses, small air Venturi filter and the large canister filter (fast to buy brand from Amazon) with a gxcs2 compressor from 0-200 bar took 2:35 seconds. I don’t think this is bad at all. At this point the compressor started filling my fx 400 cc tank. It took about the same amount of time to take the bottle from 210 maybe 15 bar to 250 bar. Total fill time was around 5:20. The larger filter really doesn’t dramatically increase times. I did notice the compressor does seem to run a bit warmer. Nothing horrible but noticeable. I probably wouldn’t do 300 bar fills with this setup. I always wondered about this before I bought that filter so I thought I would share.

Looks great, simple, and economical.
A small filter, BEFORE your main filter, should make it easy and economical to preserve and maintain the condition of the main filter.
Have you considered a one-way valve, that would allow you to store the pre-charged air in the main filter, even after your rifle is disconnected?
A one way valve would complicate your simple set up, however, the valve would also prevent having to fill up the main filter, everytime you use it.
Just a thought!
