Since my score sucked,
the food...
but in all seriousness, the course was top notch, the targets were challenging and the competition was the best. I didn’t go with any expectations, only hope. As it is said, “Hope for the best, expect the worst and you’ll never be disappointed”.
I learned a lot about how very small killzones are more challenging with changes in temperature and humidity. You have to be able to adapt know what changes need to be made.
As an example, day one I I didn’t use a sling to help steady for the forced positions. Missed all eight shots. KZ’s were small(er) and at distance. Day two I put the sling on and made 5 of 8.
Oh well... maybe next year....
