Late Season North Dakota Prairie Dog Hunt

Jbravo103 and I went pdogg'n today, it was a beautiful day 68° mostly sunny with wind 5 to 10 mph.

There were plenty of prairie dogs but they were very wild.

It's drier than Hawkeye's martini here in ND so we had to go to a different dog town as the land owner didn't want us driving through his pasture.

The wind was tough to get a accurate wind hold as it was up to 10 then drop to 5 and back to 10.

This is the latest in the year we have been able to shoot pdogs.

We had snow by this time the past few years.

Looks like fun! Woogie-man and I were out yesterday as well. No Pdogs on this side of the state so we practiced on my steel ones. I was shooting my DRS. I was shooting 35 grain HP I swage on Corbin equipment. What do you have your reg at to get that speed out of 40 grain slugs?
I had my reg at 150bar, it shot very accurately but it sounded like the valve was open to long. So I turned the reg to 155bar and now the valve closes quickly and it is slightly more accurate.

Ok I have mine between 155 and 160. i had to repalce the reg and the new one is still setteling in. I have a 25 cal Panthera. I just talked to Corbin today about slug dies for it and should have them soon. then ill find the magic pill for the Panthera!
