Latest on air compressors?

SO many, all pretty new, foreign country manufacture so "I" would want one from a local ( to your country anyway) dealer.

That said due to price ( and availability at that time) I went with the booster from altros. I understand most compressors are faster but time isn't a concern for me, the nearest air was a couple hundred miles R/T so in my case the time would be about the same minus gas & ... . I have mine set for 4,400psi shut off and it works like a charm.

Did need to purchase the lowest cost shop compressor home depot had ( but now the little misses can swap out the chained tires in the Winter, YA, she is thrilled, ya about like when I get a new airgun, really tho we all need a shop compressor anyway.

Pretty sure the PA compressor is a BAM unit and BAM makes for many names now, has a reputation for decent work on most of their per-charged rifles at least.

Naturally if going cheap and over sears use due diligence.

"beeser"Because of the lack of a local filling station I may have to get an air compressor. After a brief search it looks like there's a large swing in prices and the selection seems to be changing rapidly. What's the latest and greatest of the offerings?
As far as the greatest, they get pretty expensive, but I went with a Daystate 2 from, AOA.

You can view a video of it in action on their web site.

I fill the SCBA, top off and SCUBA tanks in 5 or 6 min. To me this is the greatest somewhat reasonably priced compressor for the performance that you get.

So it is extremely convenient and fast.

I am also a diver and it does give me dry breathable air, so its good for the guns and tanks and me.

I just ran across an old Bauer 4 stage compressor made in West Germany that caught my eye. Vintage machinery is one my other weaknesses. The asking price was a bit steep but it gave me the idea of searching for another similar compressor instead of buying a new one that's targeted to airgunners. If I can't find one there may be no choice but to buy either the new Air Venturi 4500 psi compressor or their newer power booster or the Omega Super Charger. Any leads on a vintage compressor would be appreciated.
