Latest Short Mutant - Out of the dark & into the light comes another rat!

MOD EDIT: THIS USER (VOLDEMORT, MUTANTS, CRICKET177, & WHATEVER OTHER ALIASES HE USES) HAD HIS POSTING PRIVILEGES REMOVED. YET HERE HE IS AGAIN UNDER A NEW USER NAME PROMOTING PROMOTING PROMOTING THE MUTANT. VENDORS AND PRODUCTS SHOULD SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. THEY SHOULDN'T NEED SHADY PEOPLE MAKING PATHETIC ATTEMPTS TO SELL A PRODUCT. IF THE TAG FORUM IS SO GREAT (AS YOU MADE CLEAR USING YOUR LAST USERNAME), THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUST STAY THERE?

I'm sure the Mutant, just like all the other bullpups on the market, is an accurate rifle. Sure the trigger mechanics resemble that of a finely-crafted Swiss watch, but at least with my bullpup (and I'm not going to mention what brand it is because it doesn't matter to me), I can adjust its trigger-break to be as light as I want it to be and for it to do so like glass.

In my experience and opinion, a gun that is accurate is one that which the shooter is able to consistently manage its firing behavior, provided everything else (inconsistency of regulator, dirty or off-machined barrel, pellet-clipping issues, incorrect pellet size, shooting technique, etc.) has been ruled out. On my best days, even my Air Arms TX200 springer or S410 XTRA (which has been gutted and dropped many times over) will outperform my Russian-made bullpup when I'm shooting it on my heavily caffeine-ated days, and vice versa. I think the important thing is if your gun shoots well, that's pretty much all that matters regardless of its brand, type, design, etc. That also goes for things like scopes, bipods, pellets...whatever.

Cheers, have fun, and enjoy your new Mutant! I'm certain that it's one heck of a gun.

What impresses me more in accuracy and precision is the skill of the shooter, not the gun. Look at past shooters like Annie Oakley. According to what I've read, she never missed when she was really on it. I think she only missed (I believe it was just once) because her health was failing and she was no longer as stable as she used to be when she was in her prime. Be mindful that her gun did not have the technology that modern guns have, let alone PCP technology.

Please don't ask "But Annie's gun had this" or "But Ms. Oakley did this that's why she was able to do that" or whatever because I am going to tell you to come back and respond only if you tried doing whatever she did successfully with your "super-duper-very-boringly-accurate-airgun-ever" -- offhand, repeatedly, and on video!

"AirgunBill"
"tdb215"That post seems kind of sarcastic to my thread. Don't the moderators fix things like this?
I agree. Bill
People can pound their chests for the first amendment all they want, but the truth is that without fair and sensible moderation forums decay. Bullies and profiteers roll in. Constructive conversations turn to pissing matches, and in no time a source of information and camaraderie turns into just another Internet crap-hole. We won't allow people like this on our forum.
