It's totally one of the airguns ever made!
That said, it's a leak monster and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that's not comfortable working on their guns.

If i read this correctly, in your opinion, it is either one of the best, or one of the worst airguns ever made.

I have owned mine in .25 caliber for over 2 years now with absolutely no issues with it what so ever.....except sometimes the magazine will find a stray facial hair and pull it out..lol

Hmm…isn’t a western rattler super close to what an lcs is ? Aren’t rattlers like 2k ? AofA has a used lcs for like 1100 bucks. Tells me all I would need to know. Avoid like the plague

One of the main engineers for the sk19 or something like that up and quit, started making their own 'better' version (full auto) of the sk19 which is the rattler. Of course the sk19 was also someone's 'better' (removable magazine) version of the k1. About the time the rattler came out I think fx (hmm now read as donnyfl) bought remaining sk19s or so the story goes, and they made a sk19 with a fx liner system in it, which is of course their spin of the gun.
At least thats about what I remember. I currently still have a older sk19 in 22. I am very curious as to how well the fx liner in the sk19 shoots.

Oh did you know that there was some type of prototype or one off sk19 that was a .177?

Possibly one of the best and most vague comments I've read on AGN. I agree 100% - the LCS is defintely an airgun that was ever made.
Would I buy on over a Huben K1, no.

Exactly! I got carried away by exuberance when I bought mine, but I don't think the K1 existed at the time, or at least I hadn't heard of it.

I have one of the very few SK-19 rifles made in .177 caliber.
I love mine, it’s very accurate and I use it strictly for pest control, I never shoot it in full auto, it’s a worthless activity and risks breaking the unrepeatable rifle.
The semi auto on the other hand is fantastic, I can kill a lot of pests with 19 shots without cocking or reloading.
The disadvantage comes when it’s time to reload, it takes a long time to reload 19 pellets, 4 at the time, seating each properly but not too far forward in order to prevent a jam.
I haven’t had any jams or problems yet.
Sooner or later it will break and that’s when I’ll stop loving it, can’t get parts for it, maybe some Rattler or Sidewinder parts may work but neither Airguns of Arizona or Western Airguns will tell you if they would, basically once my rifle breaks down, it’ll be the end of it, it’ll just be a show and tell item, it’ll just look good on a wall rack.

The exact answer to the question is YES, the clown that started LCS Air Arms thru in the towel and quit, leaving us SK-19 rifle owners hanging with a worthless 3 year warranty.
I think that we take a big chance when buying from a company that has been in business less than 10 years, LCS was in business only 4 years I think.
Business started and managed by a thief clown that stole the technology from Huben Airguns, (in coohoots with the thief engineer) so it was bound to fail.
Airguns of Arizona told me that they stopped selling the SK-19 rifles because they just couldn’t get parts from this clown. Parts on order indefinitely, they just couldn’t repair the rifles that were in the shop under warranty.
If someone knows something different, please let us know !!!.
