I have a problem ... My china compressor leaks water from the couplings on the head.. Tuxing clone ... Anyone have a idea ???

@cosmic, since its a very low pressure part of the system, just remove the fittings, and wrap a few wraps of Teflon tape around the threads and put it back together. That should take care of it...

Ha! Well now that you mention it, I was a nuclear engineer in my younger days... Now I'm an Engineer for Undersea Systems (submarines and diving systems), so more of a mechanical engineer.

Whoa, that doesn't look like any Yong Heng or Tuxing that I have seen. How does the tubing connect to the pump head?

This type of quick connector is for tubes with more rigid walls. Inside the connector is a set of mini jaws grabbing onto the outside of the tube after being inserted. I bet the tubes that came with the compressor is too soft to enable a firm grip. I would suggest to replace the connector with the (simpler ) type seen on the Yong Heng. They are QD fittings. They seal with Orings on the out-side of the tube. The tube must be of the exact specified outside diameter. If you have the right tube, the only thing that you can do is make sure that it is pushed in all the way. The tube is held in place by a spring washer type clamp that releases when you press the blue plastic flange towards the brass body. If you can't make them seal, They are available on Aliexpress or perhaps a pneumatic supplier. Or you could replace them with more common spigots.

I have the same compressor Be sure to push the tubing all the way in the fitting until you feel a hard stop .

If it keeps leaking switch the fittings out to 1/8" npt barbed fittings. I know those are metric fittings but 1/8"npt with Teflon tape will work fine. Like Centercut said it is a low pressure system

Just 2 questions? Where is the stainless steel tubing for the high pressure air? And how do you burn yourself without said tubing?

Never did I say I burned myself.. All tubes are inside a water jacket.. Have replacements barbed fitting coming soon the are 10x1mm thread and the barb is 9mm..

No I was saying I have burned myself lol. It reminds me that compressing air makes heat. Really like this design much better.

This is like my compressor. I have had it three months and love it. Simple. I fill my guns not tanks. No over heat. No issues of any kind. Would like to get a gold water filter though.

They fit the thread is right, but I need to grab a couple of clamps since the barbs are 9mm and the inside of the hose is 10mm.. Or go with a better hose in 3/8''...
