Least expensive FT rifle you’d recommend

shot my first match with a bone stock Maruader, a centerpoint 4-16 scope at 16x and a custom stock I made. shot 16/48 and have been addicted ever since.



Shoot a match (and forget about being competitve, just go have fun) and you'll get more information about FT than days of forum searching. Likley make some good friends too.

Beware! I see guys show up to shoot FT with their $200 rig claiming they would never drive more than an hour to a match. Then 2 years later they are shooting a Thomas at a Grand Prix 800 miles from home. You have been warned.

Will, you are spot on about that. Little over a year ago I went to my first FT match with my Benjamin Maximus.

Now I have FTP 900 and RAW TM 10000.

My first year shooting was with a Marauder and UTG scope. I managed seventh place at National's in hunter class with it. Now it's an FWB800 and Sightron scope for wftf.

Suck up your pride ... Team up with a known shooter of the game & a set up rifle and GO LEARN something ... IMO
