Left Handed FT Help

So I am teaching a newbie wftf Field Target.
He is 6'3" and in very good condition but he is left handed and left eye dominant which isn't a bad thing
but
with me being a right handed HFT shooter i could use some help coaching him. Perhaps some pics of you Lefty Folks standing, Kneeling, and on the all important Bumm Bag.
He's not completely sure of WFTF but i need to expose him to the sport properly.

thanks in advance.

I’m not a lefty but some thoughts that might help. Standing and kneeling would be exactly the same but reversed, knee pad on left knee and roll under left ankle. I think a choice on side vs front focus would be wise to inspect for a lefty for comfort and easy use and as far as on a bum bag I would think that that would just come down to a comfortable and steady position. Hope it helps a bit.

From the pictures he appears thin and fit. If flexibility is not an issue, then do encourage WFTF. The HW97K is a wonderful gun. If he goes in that direction have him get it properly tuned to sub 12fpe fitted with a good FT stock and a scope of his choosing. Sitting along side an accomplished right handed WFTF shooter he can easily look over at the other guy and use this to learn the essentials and start to develop his own style. Above all, encourage him to look for continued improvement rather than score and to have fun doing it. Uj

It's already tuned for HFT but i think if he's serious i'll encourage him to buy his own and send it to David Slade for a proper Pro Tune.

I'll have to dig some more up. Here's what I have. Spanning from 2015 to 2021 shooting a variety of different divisions (mainly Open and Hunter).

I am certainly NOT the most accomplished FT shooter (last PACup I scored 96/120 in Open PCP with my custom MRod), but my background is in 3 position so my position shooting is typically the strongest part of my FT matches...it's the ranging and windage that kills me lol.

I'll try to find more pics of my standing position.

Hope this helps.
