Lekatchka Airgun FT (Venice, FL) Match Report March 16, 2025
Posted by Gary P. for our Field Target match director, Ron Guiliano.
Hello FT shooters,
First I would like to thank everyone for supporting Lekatchka Airgunners in our quest to become a 1st class place to shoot FT in SW Florida! It's nice to see the local support and participation in this great sport. As we move forward we are hoping to host an AAFTA GP event in early 2026.
The weekend was full of challenging shots, mostly sunny conditions, and some serious wind. Both days had consistent wind speeds of 10-20mph with gusts in the low to mid 30's. The troyer numbers for both days with wind factored in were 33.5 and 36.2.
We had 17 shooters sign up to compete in three different classes, Open, WFTF and Hunter. Attached are the final results for both days. Congrats to all the winners for shooting some excellent scores in very challenging conditions. We hope to see everyone at the next event.
Thx, Ron G AKA EMD2
Notes from Gary P.
Some additional info and photos.
Winds were significant, especially for WFTF shooters.
11am, middle of the match on Sunday, 2nd day wind report, if you are interested:

Fellow WFTF shooter, Bob Lamoureux, was kind enough to make awards for the top of class shooters. Excellent work Bob.

Award winners:
HUNTER CLASS

OPEN CLASS

WFTF CLASS

Thanks for viewing and commenting..... Sorry for the duplicate photos below. I am not smart enough to figure out how to trash them. LOL
