Lens Caps for Ares ETR 3-18x50

Greetings.

I am looking for lens cap options for my Ares 3-18x50. I will be happy to know of any type as I don't yet know what dollar amount I want to spend. Any situation is game for consideration, including bikini. Links would be an added assistance. (If someone on the forum has something, I would listen to that too.)

To save folks time, I do not think the Monstrum brand is for me, and I don't think (?) Tenebraex makes a cap for this scope. I do know that MKMachining makes caps, but as I said, I would like options.

I have monstrum on both my ares 4.5-30x56 and my helos 6-24x56 and don’t think their bad. It does take a bit of sliding and twisting and pushing to get them all the way on so the cap is tight to the end of the scope but they stay well.

You can always get a set of Butler Creek scope caps. They work well enough for me. Just measure the outer diameter of your objective and eyepiece with a caliper and look it up in their chart for the correct size.

I use MK Machining caps on my Athlon Ares BTR 2.5-15x50 FFP, they are pricey but very well made. They make them for most all of Athlons scopes, just find your scope and you can choose color and a honeycomb shade for extra. They also make a small parallax wheel and throw lever....I have them all on mine. The caps open almost flat to the scope body. You can adjust the snuggness of the caps, throw lever and parallax wheel by a set screw.

I like the Butler Creek Blizzard clear caps on my hunting rigs. They are just as sturdy as solid molded caps, and allow for quick shots if needed.

I wanted to give you guys the courtesy of an update. I came into a pair of bikini covers that will take care of protecting my Ares lenses for the moment. Should I get caps, I think they will be either Butler Creek or MK Machining ones. The Vortex ones don’t look bad, either.
